Location: Foya
I spent the day in the Foya hospital…working with one of our HIV patients who is critical condition and in need of a blood transfusion…the family was able to buy one pint but not able to afford the other 2 pints that were needed…found one guy willing to give his blood to the patient (1st known time that a stranger gave free blood at the Foya hospital, besides Suzie…a huge deal)…I will check on the patient tomorrow and if she is still in need of blood I am on standby to give.
How sad not to be able to afford the blood your loved one needs. We take so many things for granted. I love you, Dani.
