March 28th Location: Monrovia I know I haven’t written in a while and I could give you a hundred excuses on why I have not been a faithful blogger but the truth is I have been exhausted and completely emptied over the course of this last week. The 3 day festival finished last night with over 60,000 in attendance, to be emotionally, physically, and spiritually emptied over something so meaningful brings tears to my eyes. God has filled me up in a way that has brought me to a new level of dependency on Him and it is moving its way through my whole being, there were moments this week where my weaknesses and immaturity shined like bright lights and moments of pure joy as I sat in a stadium listening to a choir of 600 sing praises to God. The President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf came one night and the Vice President was present during each of the 3 nights, military came, police walked forward during the alter call, ex-combats made their way to the front, and thousands ushered around the stadium with a hunger to know God. This week has taken everything out of me and yet has given me back everything I gave and so much more.
