The crisis in the Ivory Coast has continued to get worst and it seems that every day brings a step closer to a full fledge war. The country of Liberia is working to support all 70,000 refugees that have come into the country but the process of building a camp is a much slower procedure that all would have hoped. This weekend I have the opportunity to go with a small team to assess the camp and see the role where my organization can assist in. I will also get to attend a rural festival put on by the Billy Graham association in the city of Ganta, this festival is about a 30 minute drive from where the refugee camp is being built…as I reflect on the powerful imagine of hope amongst devastation and am just thankful that in some small way I can play a part of this building process. I don’t know the internet situation in Nimba but I will keep you updated if I can, please on keep the Ivory Coast in your prayers as well as the festival that will be held this weekend.
