A few days ago a media team came to Liberia from our headquarters in Boone N.C. This media team is here to capture stories of things that SP is doing around Liberia. These stories will be shown in a number of different places as well as streamed with the Franklin Festival in March. One of the stories that the team covered today was the free blood donation project…they met the person in critical need of blood and then followed the process of two individuals giving free blood…I wasn’t in Foya for the filming but I heard it was very moving….this is incredibly exciting for me because I know the significance and need of this initiative, many people people do not understand the severity of the lack of blood in Liberia, but these stories may ignite something back home that could save hundreds of lives.
