I met a lady today who has dedicated her life to living and working in Liberia, 35 years and through the civil war she lived and raised her family in Liberia. She has now developed early childhood education material in each of the 16 tribal languages in Liberia, so that children can start learning in their spoken language and then integrate into English the national language by 2nd grade...amazing. As I think about this lady and all that she has done I know that it has only developed because of her years of dedication and it makes me ask myself...what am I committed to...what would I be willing to stick to not only for a few years but for a lifetime...I don't know...but I think true change only comes from a lifetime of dedication...something for me to think about.
